Gospel of Grace and Peace and Reconciliation of All Things

“For it pleased the Father that in Him (Jesus) all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.” Colossians 1:19-20

Someone wrote this, and I agree:

“The gospel of grace and peace is simply Christ and Him crucified. I believe the sacrifice of the cross was complete and was in no way a means for us to achieve anything or be purified in the future. I believe the blood that was shed on that cross was sufficient to accomplish everything it was intended to accomplish without having to go through any form of purification in the future.”

All Things Fulfilled

Faith is simply taking hold of what is true, what has already been done. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, God has forgiven all our sins and made us righteous in Christ.

1 Timothy 4:10 states that Jesus is the Saviour of all men. As far as God is concerned, He has reconciled everyone to Himself through Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:18)

God has reconciled ALL things to Himself through the blood of His cross. (Colossians 1) When people believe this wonderful good news, they will enjoy the benefits of salvation, such as peace for their conscience, healing, wholeness, protection and prosperity in every area of their life. Even if they don’t believe, they will still be with God in the afterlife. Why? Because their spirit will go back to God who sent it. (Ecclesiastes 12:7)

Either Jesus is Saviour of all or He is Saviour of none. Either God is love or God is a terrorist and sadist. Jesus saves all of us from a wrong mindset about God and ourselves.

“But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God.” (Hebrews 10:12)

Is the light of the glory of the gospel shining through? May the scales of people’s eyes continue to fall off. The law of Moses blinds people’s minds, but the grace and truth of Jesus Christ liberates and enlightens our minds and hearts. The glory of the law was fading away, but the glory of the grace of Christ is ever increasing, and as we behold His glory, we are transformed into His same image from glory to glory, not by our human self-efforts but by the Holy Spirit. The letter kills and condemns, but the Spirit gives life. (2 Corinthians 3-4)

Nothing but a total and complete salvation of all humankind will truly exalt and glorify the wonderful finished work of Jesus Christ. Religion, legalism and self-righteousness shall fall flat to the ground; only the love of God stands forever.(Ephesians 3)

God is love, and love believes the best of all, and love never fails.

Grace and peace to you.
