Thoughts for Life – Francois du Toit (June 4)

THOUGHTS FOR LIFE June 4 (Extracts from Francois’ book God Believes in You)

God is not watching us from a distance, as the song suggests.

Emmanuel means God with us. God cannot get any closer to mankind than what he already did in the person of Jesus! He is not nearer to some than what he is to others, nor nearer to Jerusalem than to Johannesburg. As much as Jesus represents all of God, he represents the entire human race in one person.

To the Greek philosophers Paul says, “He is not far from each one of us, in him we live and move and have our being, we are indeed his offspring!″ Acts 17:27,28.

I have just started reading your book “God believes in you” which you gave to my daughter Debbie Cowley. Not only can I not get enough from reading The Mirror Bible but this book is really opening up so much to me. Gods richest blessings to you, Lydia and your family

Hi, thanks for your comment. Sorry I am not the author of the book – I only posted excerpts of books that I find inspiring in my blog.
