Overcoming the illusion of separation

The illusion of separation is a deception. When Peter confessed Jesus as “the Christ, the Son of the Living God”, Jesus changed his name from Simon to Peter, meaning Rock. Just like Peter, we are born of the Rock of Ages, and so our identity is based on the truth of who Christ is: “As He is, so are we in this world.”

Upon this Rock (our revelation of our true identity in Christ) is built the church. The church is simply all of us humankind who are called out of ignorance – we all are the ‘ekklesia’ (the called-out ones), and the gates of hades (ignorance) shall not prevail against us.

In short. deception is based on thinking we all are separate from God. Truth is based on knowing we are one with God and our true identity is Love. “Be still and know I am God/Love.”
